The publisher's most recent purchase and forthcoming Classic Motorsports project car is a particularly un-pristine Shelby GT350. This thing is amazing. I love everything about this car, but I most especially love how it's aged. I'm not sure where he picked it up or what the exact plans are for it, but hot damn is it awesome. And yes, it's real. I think it's a '67.

That is pretty sweet. What's the mileage? It's neat to think that someone bought a nice car like this, and then enjoyed driving it for 40 years. At least I hope so.
ReplyDeleteFrom the picture of the dashboard, it looks like either 59, 69, or 99 thousand miles. No hundred-thousands place on the odo, but I'd guess it hasn't rolled over. I'll try and remember to look more closely tomorrow. I think it had been sitting a while, but this car has definitely been well-loved.
